Rising Sun The Rising Sun is the best double growth weapon Yuffie can get. You can only steal it from the Diamond Weapon, though. And, I never managed to do that, so it never made it into this fic. Besides, I think the TV looks better than the RS. ;-)

Oh my gosh, so behind schedule. First and foremost, HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD! :-)

I'm going to be out of town for the weekend, so I'll probably give you guys a late Sunday or 2-page Monday update to make up for the delay.

In the meanwhile you can amuse yourselves by reading another FFX one shot - I signed up for a little writing exercise and a few assignments, so there'll be a couple of stories coming up for Yuffie and Seifer fans too.

Awesome! Cool Page! I love the art work and the story. Keep up the good work!

Poor Yuffie. Nobody will let her go fight with her butter knife.

Love the fourth panel. Yuffie's face makes me smile.

I now have the urge to draw Yuffie with a butter knife. And Vincent with a straw and some spitballs.

Reply andygoth, 8th May 2007

I'm sure Yuffie would never butter her bread with a knife that didn't have a few materia slots.

I've always wondered why it is that a origami crane takes so much damage.

Reply NameIsZ (Guest), 9th May 2007

classic ah yes...the twin viper...such a classical weapon...really helped mastering the materia...though it killed yuffie a few times

Reply Casseh Valentine (Guest), 9th May 2007

Leviathan, is she going to have to use the stupid Oritsuru now? Even playing FFVII I refused to use it 'cause it looked so rediculous. Gah. ;___;

Reply Ancestral Spirit (Guest), 9th May 2007

ya gotta admit The Twin Viper does look like a very pretty piece of crap though. I never bothered using it myself, didn't want Yuffie getting killed that often myself, but anywho great work on Yuffie's expression in the 2nd panel.

How does one fight with an origami crane?

Reply Yuffie (Guest), 9th May 2007

aww Leave me alone, Nanaki.

NICE!!

Reply Neph (Guest), 9th May 2007

I second klepto's skepticism....

Nanaki: Yuffie! Throw away that butter knife and give that monster some serious paper cut trouble NOW!!

I raise my eyebrows in doubt. See?

<=\

Oh well. I have never played the game, so I guess I can't talk, huh. ^___^;;

Yuffie is the very embodiment of the confidence of youth... ^___^;; Ah, family feuding. Don't it just touch your heart?

Another yummy shot of Vincent... For some reason, the little sparklies on the blade made me giggle quietly.

Ain't that sweet... Red XIII is like the father/mentor that Yuffie & Vincent never had!

Reply Lasharus (Guest), 10th May 2007

To be quite honest, I've never used the Oritsuru. By the time I got THAT one, I already had the Conformer, Yuffie's ultimate weapon.

If materia growth is her goal here, however, the Oritsuru is the correct choice :P

Reply Neko-chan (Guest), 11th May 2007

My Yuffie always had the Conformer once I'd gotten it. She had all my Master Materia anyway <3

Reply Lasharus (Guest), 11th May 2007

I never used Yuffie all that often anyway, come to think of it. My preferred team setup was usually Cloud, Barret and Cid :P

She is useful when morphing enemies though, in that the Conformer keeps having full damage, even with morph. Best way to get Ribbons :P

Reply Akunen, 11th May 2007

Vincent looks so wonderful! <3

Haha, fighting with a butter knife. Nice one. xD

Reply Yuffie (Guest), 11th May 2007

Hey, Doesn't "Neko" mean cat in japanese? XD

Don't tell me Growth stopped making comics!! ; ;

#1 This is quickly becoming my favorite webcomic! I kick y`all a vote everyday.

Reply ElfGrove (Guest), 13th May 2007

I don't know why, but the "butter knife" comment makes me laugh. Especially with the picture of the blade right next to it. *snerk*

I'm always impressed by your knowledge of the weapon details. Is there a site you use, or do you just have a far better memory of what each weapon looked like and did than I do?
