Constants I didn't expect this to turn into a 9-panel page, but it did! I like to think that even if Vincent and Yuffie can't solve their argument, they can take a certain comfort in expecting each others' behaviour - hence the smiles. Kind of hard to express all that without any dialogue, though.

Next week's incentive is Sephiroth, so be sure to vote!

Also don't forget to check out Ikebana this week - if you visit, please offer your support to Momo Toe as he and his family deal with the fallout from Typhoon Reming; the kind words of readers here always manage to cheer me up, and I'm sure he could use the same right now.

A good friend of mine died yesterday in an accident. I hope you will understand if Monday's page is late.

Yuffie's just giving Vincent everything and anything, isn't she?

I don't get it...what is that in the last panel?

By the way, this is the first time I've heard of a hurricane in quite some time...

Yeah, you can tell there's an unspoken understanding between the two. I love Vince's expression in Panel 4, he looks so gentle. :)

I second klepto-maniac's opinion - nonverbal communication is fantastic.

I LOVE THIS!!!!!!!!!! :D

Reply Neph (Guest), 8th Dec 2006

I think you've really come a long way with this... the facial expressions and postures are getting really good.
Vincent smiled!!!!!! *swoons*
I like Yuffie's last expression.... it's like all defensive, "no big deal"!

Nice! Greetings!

I'm new to Growth - learned about it from the "art engineer" who is doing a online manga version of "Sink".

You have very nice work - and so far the latest story is going very nicely. Keep up the great work! I hope to see more soon.

:) ::waves::

I think you are doing just fine expressing things with minimal dialogue. Too many comic artists rely on dialogue too much.

Also: awww, so cute!

Yays!!! More extrodinairily rare objects! How does she do that?!? I want them...
Yuffie's expression in the third pannel is Soooo her. Good job and Im happy to see Growth back & updating.

Reply Ancestral Spirit (Guest), 8th Dec 2006

Eeeeee!!!!! I can't wait for the next one now. Soooo cutie... *ahem* regaining composure. Vincent actually smiled yay!!

Lets see, Six Materia slots and they are all grouped in sets of two.
So it's easy to guess what it is... what has three sets of grouped slots. :)
Still turning out great.
If I was there's I'd ask to borrow some of Yuffies Comet Materia she's gotten.
Comet x5 + HP and MP Absorb/MP Rage/Qudra Magic/W-Magic and nothingin Northern Crater lives :)

Enkida I am so sorry, hun. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to help. I am sending you and your friends family my biggest, warmest prayers to wrap your heart/hearts in.

Reply Winged Knight (Guest), 10th Dec 2006

Take as much time as you need. Dealing with that is far more important then a comic, so don't worry about it at all.

My sincere condolences And if nobody understands why the post will be late, then they need to be knocked down, strapped to a table, and lobotomized with an icepick. Honestly, some people... But, as I haven't seen these people yet, my Hojo-table and personality modifier will have to go back into their cubbies.

::hughug:: I think I can speak for everyone who reads "Growth" when I say that we're with you during your crisis, and that we fully understand that your real life is not this doujinshi. What you're doing for us is wonderful, but take care of yourself first, please. I send you my heartfelt prayers, and I will put in a word to my late grandfather to make sure your friend's all good in the Afterlife.

Reply Guardian1 (Guest), 10th Dec 2006

Enkida Also from me my condolences; and if you need anyone punched in the mouth, I will do it gladly. Like klepto said, take as much time as you want, and take care of yourself. Thinking of you and yours.

*internet hugs*

Gotta know!! With all this affectionate moments, I really wonder what's to follow up -- I'M AT THE EDGE OF MY SEAT!! AHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!

Reply Lasharus (Guest), 11th Dec 2006

Condolences I too, as a regular (though recent) reader, would like to add my condolences.

I'd say more here, but everything i could and would say has already been said by others (mainly Klepto).

Take all the time you want and I hope you'll feel better soon.

Reply Tempest_Summers, 11th Dec 2006
